RCMP renew call for search for Sask. man missing since 2016

RCMP are searching for a Warman man who went missing nearly a year ago in Alberta.

Donald Sayers, who also goes by 'Donny,' was last seen on May 22, 2016 near Swan Hills, Alta.

RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating a 55-year-old Warman, Sask., man who has been missing since May 2016.

Donald Sayers, who also goes by Donny, was last seen near Swan Hills, Alta., on May 22, 2016. 

The vehicle Sayers was driving, a dark blue Dodge Ram, was found abandoned near Whitecourt, Alta., on Highway 32 that same day.

Sayers was reported missing by a friend days later on May 26, 2016.

His personal vehicle, a black Ford Mustang, was located at a hotel in Slave Lake, Alta., on May 26.

Police said he is a long-haul truck driver and regularly travelled between Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba but note his disappearance is out of character. 

Sayers is described as five feet eleven inches tall with a medium build, grey hair and brown eyes.
