An aerial search is underway in Saskatchewan as RCMP continue to look for an 84-year-old man reported missing on Wednesday.
Victor Mateyshin, from Dana, Sask., was last seen driving a white Ford Crown Victoria.
Police said they will focus their search on a rural area north of Dana.
While Mateyshin was reported missing on Wednesday, he was last seen on Sept. 16.
Police said family members were concerned about the man, but note there is no indication that foul play is involved.
In addition to the RCMP aircraft, a civilian pilot who knows Mateyshin was also going to be in the air.
"It's going to help hopefully locate the vehicle that's involved," Sgt. Paul Dawson, a spokesman for the RCMP, said Friday. "It will be much easier to see that from the air. And we have excellent conditions out there today."
Friends and family were also looking for him.
Mateyshin was reported to be in good health and his disappearance is said to be out of character.
Mateyshin is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 180 pounds with blue eyes, grey hair, and glasses.
He was last seen wearing a tan jacket and blue jeans.
