He won the first medal for Canada at the Sochi Olympics and now Regina's Mark McMorris is back on home soil.

McMorris won bronze in the slopestyle snowboarding competition.

Just 10 days before the Winter Games began, he fractured a rib in a crash at the X-Games slopestyle event.

Listeners have two opportunities to hear McMorris speak about his Olympic win.

He'll be on Saskatoon Morning on Thursday at 7:15 a.m. CST and on the Morning Edition in the rest of the province at 8:15 CST.
