Manslaughter charges laid in 2010 fire deaths near Uranium City
Man, 29, charged with two counts of manslaughter in 4-year-old case
A man in Stony Rapids has been charged with manslaughter in the deaths of two people dating back to four years ago.
On January 4, 2010, Jack Cochrane and Phillip Nighttraveller died in a house fire in a community near Uranium City.
The RCMP Historical Case Unit has continued the investigation. On Saturday, RCMP charged a 29-year-old man with two counts of manslaughter.
The man will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Monday morning.
The investigation into the deaths is ongoing.
