Man stabbed more than 10 times not talking to police

A 19-year-old man who was stabbed more than 10 times is recovering, but is refusing to talk to police in North Battleford, Sask.

A 19-year-old man who was stabbed more than 10 times is recovering, but is refusing to talk to police in North Battleford, Sask.

On Saturday around 3 a.m. CST, the RCMP got a call about the stabbing on the 9000 block of Panton Ave. in the northwest part of the city.

He was taken to hospital in Saskatoon and is expected to make a full recovery.

However, he has refused to co-operate with police in any investigation, the RCMP said Tuesday.

Many of the witnesses questioned by police have also refused to co-operate, police said.

Police continue to investigate.
