RCMP say they have 3 men in custody after a group of people sprayed mace and fired a gun in a home on the Yellow Quill First Nation.

A caller told officers a group of people surrounded a home and were causing damage to its exterior at about 7:30 p.m. CST on Friday.

The group was able to get inside, where officers say they sprayed mace and at least one shot was fired.

One man inside the home was shot in the leg and taken to hospital in Saskatoon. He was treated for serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

The other occupants were treated for injuries from the mace in a nearby hospital and released.

RCMP have three men in custody and continue to investigate.
