Man shot in head in North Battleford recovering

A man who was shot in the head in North Battleford, Sask., earlier this month is expected to make a full recovery, police say.

A man who was shot in the head in North Battleford, Sask., earlier this month is recovering well, according to police investigators.

The man was found near a home on the east side of the city, around 1 a.m. CST on Sept. 16, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.

He was initially treated in North Battleford before being transferred by STARS air ambulance to Saskatoon. 

Earlier this month, he was listed in serious but stable condition.

Today, he remains in hospital but his condition has been upgraded and he is expected to make a full recovery, the RCMP said.

Investigators have spoken to the victim as recently as Monday, however no one has been charged.
