Man pleads guilty to murder of Regina's Tara Chartrand
The man charged in the death of Regina's Tara Chartrand will receive a life sentence, a court heard Wednesday.
Northbear Buddy Carrier, who is in his 20s, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
Chartrand's body was found in a Regina house in December 2012. Carrier was charged shortly after.
She had been missing for three months.
It was the city's sixth homicide of 2012.
