A 22-year-old man from Alberta with a history of assaults on women has pleaded guilty to two more violent attacks involving victims in Saskatoon.
Josiah Jerome Blackplume was in court Thursday, where he pleaded guilty to the assaults. He is set to be sentenced on Friday.
He was charged following an attack on a jogger using a riverbank path in Saskatoon May 10.
About two weeks later, he sexually assaulted a woman on the University of Saskatchewan campus.
Blackplume has three previous convictions for sexual assault, in his home province of Alberta.
