One man is in hospital after a stolen vehicle deliberately rammed his van into a pole early Wednesday morning.
It happened on Highway 10 in the Town of Fort Qu'Appelle. Police said several suspects driving on the highway in the stolen vehicle started to speed up and purposely rammed into the man's van.
They eventually forced the victim to drive into a pole in front of a fast food establishment.
The man was trapped inside until emergency crews could get him out. He was then rushed to hospital in Regina with a broken leg among other injuries.
Police said the car the suspects were driving was stolen from the Village of Kelliher, Sask.
One of the suspects remained at the scene where he was arrested. A police dog was brought in to help track down the others.
Police believe there may be three or four other people involved.
No other arrests have been made.
