A man in Saskatoon was taken to hospital with minor injuries after somehow walking into the path of a slow moving train Thursday morning.

Officials were not releasing many details, but — according to the local ambulance service — paramedics were dispatched around 10:45 a.m. to tend to a 46-year-old man who was hit by a train at 25th Street and Idylwyld Drive.

He sustained minor injuries and was taken to St.Paul’s Hospital.
