A 55-year-old man is Saskatoon's second homicide victim of 2010.

Dennis Weiman lived in a home on Maxwell Crescent on the city's west side.

Police were called there Friday night by his brother.

Werner Weiman told CBC News he went to the house because he was concerned that his brother wasn't answering the phone.

"I found him sitting in his sofa and he was shot," Weiman said Saturday. "It looked like shot in the head. I called the police and they come over there."

Police issued a news release Saturday confirming that a homicide investigation was underway at the house.

Weimer said other family members had not heard from Dennis for a number of days.

No arrests had been made by midday Saturday.
