A man died Thursday morning in a crash involving a pick-up truck and a semi-trailer transport vehicle, RCMP say.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 303, about 10 kilometres west of Highway 21 in the Rural Municipality of Eldon, Sask.
Officers from the Maidstone and Lloydminster detachments of the RCMP responded, as well as a fire and rescue team from Maidstone and the Maidstone ambulance service.
The semi unit was going west on the highway and crashed with a Dodge truck that was going east. The driver of the Dodge truck, a 35-year-old man from the RM of Wilton, was ejected from his vehicle and died at the scene. He was the only person in the truck.
RCMP said the driver of the semi was not hurt.
The crash was still under investigation, although RCMP noted that the road was reported as being in good winter driving condition.
No name was released.
