Man dies after hitting overpass in Prince Albert, Sask.
A man is dead after his pickup truck struck a cement pillar and burst into flames in Prince Albert, Sask.
It happened just before 3 a.m. CST on Highway 2 at the Shellbrook overpass, just north of the river.
The man was heading south in his pick-up truck when he hit the pillar and was ejected from the truck.
The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames when police arrived.
The highway was closed early in the morning as investigators probed the crash.
The city will be examining the Shellbrook overpass for structural damage before it is reopened.
The man's name, age and home town haven't been released.
