Man charged in Amber alert case found not guilty
A man who was facing five charges in relation to an amber alert case last year in Regina has been found not guilty.
Anthony Slippery,32, was facing criminal charges in relation to a case involving a four-year-old girl.
An Amber alert was issued on April 26, 2012 after police believed she had been abducted.
They learned later that day that the child was with a family member in the city.
Slippery was arrested without incident in the 1200 block of Garnet Street and was charged in relation to the Amber alert.
On Friday a judge in Regina courtroom found Slippery not guilty of all five charges.
