Man, 45, fatally shot north of Prince Albert, Sask.

Police are investigating what appears to be the shooting death of a man, 45, on a rural property 7 km north of Prince Albert, Sask.

A man is dead after a shooting this morning on a rural property seven kilometres northeast of Prince Albert.

The RCMP said police were called Tuesday morning shortly after 8:00. The RCMP's major crimes unit was brought in to assist with the investigation.

Police said the dead man, 45, appeared to have died of gunshot wounds. An autopsy has been ordered. His name was not released.

Another man is in custody, police said. They did not reveal his age, nor did they say if he had any relationship to the dead man.
