Man, 30, dies after ATV rolls in rural area near Lampman, Sask.
A 30-year-old man died when his ATV rolled in a rural area east of Lampman, Sask., according to RCMP.
A 30-year-old man died when his ATV rolled in a rural area east of Lampman, Sask., according to RCMP.
Mounties said Chris Byers, who is from Lampman, was found Friday morning around 9:30 with his ATV, or quad, by a friend who was part of a group of people searching for Byers who had ventured out on his machine the night before.
He was found in a field on the outskirts of Lampman near Highway 361.
He had gone for a ride around 9 p.m. Thursday but had not been heard from.
His death is not considered suspicious. While an autopsy has been ordered, RCMP noted the man was not wearing a helmet at the time of the roll over.
The case remains under investigation.
Lampman is about 200 kilometres southeast of Regina.
