Saskatchewan police say they've seized luxury cars, RVs and jewellery — and foiled a $10-million attempted investment fraud following a massive investigation sparked by suspicious banking transactions.

Tyler William Young, 30, appeared in court Thursday charged with fraud, possession of stolen property, forgery, identity theft, money laundering and other offences.

Police said six officers were working on the 14-month investigation leading up to Young's arrest.

A home and a business in Regina were searched, resulting in the seizures.

The investigation, conducted by the RCMP's integrated organized crime unit (South Saskatchewan) with the assistance of the Regina Police Service, involved thousands of pieces of evidence and some 50 interviews.

Young had previously appeared in court on Jan. 15. At that time, he was released from custody under a series of conditions, including going to court as required.
