A former town administrator who pleaded guilty to tax evasion has been ordered to pay about $14,000 in owed taxes.

According to the Canada Revenue Agency, Kenneth Danger, who was the administrator for the town and rural municipality of Leask, would issue receipts for donations which he then used on his personal income tax to build up credits and lower his payable amount.

Leask, Sask., is about 100 kilometres north of Saskatoon.
