Rural Saskatchewan has seen a steady decline in population in recent years, but a group of young people from Ontario is trying to reverse that trend.

Rural Saskatchewan has seen a steady decline in population in recent years, but a group of young people from Ontario is trying to reverse that trend.

They've taken over the hamlet of Palmer, just east of Gravelbourg.

Dan Bowler started it when he moved to take over his grandfather's farm five years ago.

There are eight of them there now, out of 16 people.
