Unwelcome snowmobilers are upsetting a property owner in east-central Saskatchewan.
Hellain Haas says she has done everything she can think of, including signs and notices, to keep the machines off a quarter section of land near Greenwater Lake Provincial Park.
However, following a snowmobile rally on the weekend, she says she found fresh tracks crossing a batch of young trees.
"We definitely have property damage," Haas told CBC News. "How much damage, we won't know until the spring when all the snow melts because there was a substantial amount of seedlings planted last spring."
Haas said the plantings cost about $2,000 and she wants police to charge those responsible for damage.
"I'm going to keep pushing until I see some repercussions," she said. "This isn't going to go away."
RCMP say they are investigating a complaint.
