Joanna Sanders is an accomplished educator and an innovative educational leader with a passion for integrating technology into the classroom to engage students to think and work together in new ways. Currently serving as the digital fluency consultant for the Ministry of Education, she was a french immersion teacher with Regina public schools prior to joining government. Since joining the ministry in 2013, Joanna has led a number of important provincial education initiatives, including helping to address cyberbullying through the introduction of digital citizenship education for all K-12 students as well as leading the organization in November 2015 of the first ever virtual anti-bullying youth forum for over 9,000 Saskatchewan students in Grades 6 to 12.
