Hwy 1 east of Regina re-opens after crash, 6 people injured
The RCMP have re-opened the Trans-Canada Highway after the road was closed early Saturday morning due to a two vehicle crash just east of Regina.
It happened three kilometres east of the city at about 1:30 a.m. CST.
Police said one person was examined at the scene by paramedics while five other people were taken to hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious, but not life-threatening.
No other details have been released about the people involved.
Officers had closed off both eastbound and westbound lanes for the early part of Saturday morning.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
