The rain didn't stop hundreds of people from parading the streets in Saskatoon for the annual Pride Festival.
The parade was the big finale to a week full of events.
"To see that many people out on a day like this, even the people watching on the street, like there's just smiles and happiness everywhere," said Naila Kuhlmann, who took part in the parade.
"For people who aren't sure about the community here, it's good to experience that."
Loll Levenick took also took part in the festivities and he said it's about celebrating with the entire community.
"It really shows just that we're strong, especially in Saskatoon, we're being open and strong," said Levenick.
"It's great to see so much support and be able to be proud and it's just a great time, you just feel so amazing."
While Pride Week wrapped up in Saskatoon, the Queen City Pride Festival kicks off Monday evening in Regina with the flag raising ceremony.
Events will take place throughout the week with a parade on June 22.
