Minor fire leads to evacuation at Regina's Hotel Saskatchewan

People staying at the Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina were forced to leave briefly this afternoon after a small fire.

Officials say fire crews were able to put it out quickly

People staying at the Radisson Plaza Hotel Saskatchewan in Regina were forced to leave briefly this afternoon after a small fire.

Officials said a minor fire started in the carpentry workshop located in the building.

Everyone was evacuated from the hotel as fire crews dealt with the issue. The fire was quickly put out and no one was hurt. 

Crews are investigating the cause of the fire.
