High-risk offender moving to Saskatoon
Saskatoon police are warning the public that a high-risk violent offender, who has just been released from prison, is moving to the city.
Kelly James Gronlund, a 36-year-old man with a history of violent offences, was released from prison on Monday.
Gronlund is described by police as being five feet 10 inches in height and weighing about 175 pounds. He has brown hair and black eyes, according to police.
Gronlund is required to follow numerous conditions upon his release, including an order not to drink and an order not to possess any guns or knives.
Police say they want the public to be aware of Gronlund's potential to reoffend, but they don't want anyone to take any vigilante action.
