Smoke from forest fires in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories has reached northwestern Central Saskatchewan and it's creating reduced air quality conditions.

Environment Canada has issued an alert for Saskatoon and Prince Albert.

The widespread smoke is creating hazy conditions and reduced visibility.

The hazy conditions are expected to dissipate overnight.
