A man from Halbrite, Sask., has been charged with impaired driving causing death in connection with a highway crash on the weekend.
The 23-year-old was charged following an investigation into Sunday's crash on Highway 47, about 26 kilometres north of Estevan.
The victim was an Estevan man, 26, who was driving a small car when it was involved in a crash with a pickup truck.
The pickup truck driver was injured, although the extent of his injuries wasn't disclosed.
He appeared in custody in Carnduff provincial court on Thursday.
He was released and is scheduled to be back in court in Estevan on April 5.
Police have not released his name, or the name of the victim.
