Const. Alphonse Noey was off-duty at time of alleged offence last December
An RCMP officer from Fort Qu'Appelle, Sask., has been charged with impaired driving while off-duty.
A server from a licensed establishment phoned police Dec. 15, 2013, to complain about a man who should not be driving.
The Saskatchewan RCMP's major crime branch launched an investigation and have now charged Alphonse Noey, 46, with impaired driving.
Noey, a constable, makes his first court appearance June 12.
Noey will also be subject to an internal code of conduct investigation by the RCMP. He's been on administrative leave since May 5.
