Police are investigating after a shed fire in Lloydminster earlier this week left one man in critical condition and injured two women.

RCMP told the media about the fire Thursday afternoon.

They said the three were sleeping in the shed, on the 4600 block of 50 St. on the Saskatchewan side of the border, when the fire broke out.

The women were treated for minor burns and released.

The man was taken to the burn unit at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton.

RCMP are treating the fire as suspicious and are asking anyone with information to call the Lloydminster detachment at (306) 825-6350 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
