Fire continues to burn in Stanley Mission
One fire is contained, while a second has grown to 1,600 hectares.
A fire burning close to Stanley Mission has kept evacuees away from home for another night.
The fire burning closest to the community has been contained, however, another fire has nearly doubled in size since Friday. It is estimated to cover 1,600 hectares.
The Lac La Ronge Indian Band said it was not an immediate threat to Stanley Mission, but heavy smoke was expected overnight.
Close 340 people have left the northern community, with about 100 staying at the HenkRuys Soccer Centre in Saskatoon.
There is no word when they will return home.
The fires were first spotted on Wednesday.
