2 dead in early morning house fire in Hudson Bay, Sask.
RCMP say fire was accidental, no foul play suspected
Two people, a 35-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman, died in an early morning house fire in Hudson Bay, Sask., according to RCMP.
The local fire department and an ambulance were dispatched to the home, on Churchill Street, at about 5 a.m. CST. RCMP said that when the crews arrived they found the heat, smoke and flames from the fire were intense, describing the house as "fully involved".
Fire crews were able to locate and remove two bodies from inside the home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
RCMP said they were both residents of the town. Their names were not released.
Investigators determined the blaze was accidental and no foul play is suspected.
Hudson Bay is about 250 kilometres east of Prince Albert, Sask.
