Regina native shut out of TV awards

Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany did not get a Best Actress Emmy nomination Thursday and the Twitterverse was not happy.

For the second year in a row, the Regina native's much-praised performance in the sci-fi TV series playing multiple clones was overlooked by Emmy judges.

The fan reaction on social media was fast and furious, with many calling it a snub.

"Maybe if she plays 20 clones next season they'll pay attention," tweeted Kat (@Rabsx).

Here's some more reaction Thursday morning on Twitter...
