Manfred Joehnck, a former host of CTV News in Regina, has been found not guilty of impaired driving in relation to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle in May, 2011.

Joehnck was the co-anchor of the supper-time news but resigned shortly after he was charged.

According to police, officers were called to a crash at Lakeridge Road and Harrison Way in northwest Regina at 5:43 p.m. CST on May 12.

They said a motorcyclist was making a left turn and was hit by the vehicle being driven by Joehnck. The motorcyclist was thrown off the bike and received minor injuries.

In 2002 Joehnck pleaded guilty to a drinking and driving charge. He apologized and lost his driver's licence for a year.

Joehnck's stint as program host began in 2001.
