Ex-M.J. chamber exec molested teen, court hears
A former executive director of the Moose Jaw Chamber of Commerce who pleaded guilty to sexually molesting a teenage boy will be sentenced in June.
Earlier this year, Rodney Arthur McLean, 56, pleaded guilty to offences that occurred between 1997 and 2001.
In a Queen's Bench courtroom in Regina Thursday, McLean apologized for his behaviour and said he takes full responsibility.
Court heard McLean invited the boy, who was 14 at the time of the first incident, to his office to surf the Internet and look at pornography.
These visits led to McLean touching the boy inappropriately. The name of the victim cannot be published under an order of the court.
The judge is now considering whether a conditional sentence to be served in the community is appropriate.
Sentencing is set for June 30 in Moose Jaw.
