A man was killed and a woman was injured in a single-vehicle rollover just west of Parkbeg, Sask., Thursday night.

RCMP said the two, both elderly, were in an Alberta-registered sport utility vehicle heading west on the Trans Canada Highway when it rolled around 11:30 p.m. CST.

He died at the scene, about five kilometres west of the community, while she was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The names of the victims haven't been released.

Police said the highway was "frosty" at the time, but they are still working to determine the cause of the crash.

Parkbeg is about 55 kilometres west of Moose Jaw.
