Six people were taken to hospital after an early morning rollover near Edenwold, Sask.

Authorities were called to Highway 640, which is a grid road, about 4.5 kilometres north of the village, just after 7 a.m. CST Friday.

Three adult passengers and three children were in a southbound SUV when it rolled over and entered a body of water.

STARS ambulance was also on scene and said the vehicle had been partially submerged under water.

One person was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The others were transported to hospital with minor injuries. 

Edenwold is located approximately 32 kilometres northeast of Regina.
