A Regina deli is offering football player Weston Dressler free panini sandwiches for a year if he returns to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Dressler, 29,  had been trying out for a spot on the Kansas City Chiefs, but got cut from the roster on Monday.

As many as five CFL clubs are said to be interested in signing the star receiver, including his old team the Riders.

Although it may come down to who offers the most money, the Italian Star Deli is offering paninis as an additional incentive.

The owner of the deli also said he would name a sandwich after Dressler, who was one of the stars in the 2013 Grey Cup game that the Riders won.
