Cumberland House evacuees can pick up their snail mail in Prince Albert, starting today.

The community, in Saskatchewan's northwest, was evacuated just over a week ago due to fears over potential flooding.

Over 2,000 people are living, temporarily, in Prince Albert, Saskatoon and elsewhere.

Their mail will be directed to the Canada Post office in Prince Albert.

Any unclaimed mail will be moved back to post boxes in Cumberland House, once it's safe to do.
