SUV hits motorcycle, other driver in hospital
A 66-year-old man died in Regina Tuesday night after apparently suffering a medical emergency before his SUV crashed into a motorcycle.
It happened shortly before 10 p.m. CST at the north end of the Albert Street bridge.
Police said the man was southbound on Albert when he crossed into the northbound lanes and hit a woman driving the motorbike.
He was rushed to hospital but died shortly after arrival.
The woman, 42, is listed in stable condition this morning with serious injuries.
Traffic investigators were on scene until around 3 a.m. The driver of the SUV apparently suffered a medical emergency right before he crashed, police said.
