Chantel Buffalo is a 31 year old mother of four from the Kawacatoose First Nation. She is currently pursuing her dream of one day owning her own restaurant, which will reflect her Cree and Laotian heritage.

Her love of cooking and her goal of running her own business is what lead her back to school where she has received numerous awards. She sits on the Intercultural Committee and is designated as the Student Aboriginal Role Model. Through her academic achievements, she was among those selected to be a keynote speaker at the Colleges and Institutes of Canada Conference held recently in Yukon, NWT.

With graduation set for May 2016, she will be one step closer to achieving her goal. Her enthusiasm, optimistic outlook, passion and dedication best describe Chantel's outgoing personality. She devotes any spare time to help out her family and friends and volunteers her time to assist with school and community activities.

Chantel demonstrates that with hard work you can achieve anything.
