The body of a 25-year-old man was found Thursday on a Saskatoon riverbank.
The man's body was found at around noon on a riverbank trail between the 800 and 900 blocks of Saskatchewan Crescent East, said police.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and continue to investigate.
"At this point, the investigation is very preliminary," said Const. Tisharae Stonehouse. "They have a number of factors to consider. Any time an individual is found to be deceased in this manner, then that is a consideration, but we won't know [anything] further until the investigators can fully look at all the factors."
An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
The name of the man will not be released until his family is notified.
