Badly beaten man improving: Saskatoon police
A man seriously injured early Sunday during an altercation between neighbours is improving in hospital, Saskatoon police say.
Officers were called to 28th Street West and Avenue B North at about 5:15 a.m. following reports a person had been injured in a fight.
Emergency crews treated a local man, 20, at the scene and then rushed him to Royal University Hospital in critical condition. His medical status had improved to stable by the afternoon, police said.
Police investigators interviewed a number of witnesses and determined the fight was the result of a dispute between people living in two area homes.
Charges have not been laid, but police said they are continuing to investigate.
