Regina police to charge man, woman

Victims of a Regina break and enter have learned what happened to their stuff — it ended up in another residence, just 300 metres away.

Police said a man and a woman are facing charges this morning after some stolen items were found in a home in the northwest part of the city.

Police had been working on the case since a Dec. 20 break-in, in the 7200 block of Bennett Dr.

On Thursday night, street crime investigators executed a search warrant at a home a few blocks to the south on the 7200 block of Blakeney Drive.

They recovered a number of pieces of property that had been stolen in the earlier incident. Police didn't provide any details.
