Police arrested two men wanted for attempted murder after a stakeout at a Regina hotel on Thursday.

Elijah Blue Sangwais, 21, and Eric Edward McArthur, 23, were charged in connection with a shooting in Regina on Dec. 29.

The 23-year-old who was shot is expected to recover.

Police got a call Thursday saying one of suspects had been seen at the hotel in the east end of the city.

They arrested McArthur in a parking lot at around 1 p.m. Sangwais was arrested two hours later following a search around the hotel.

A third suspect, 21-year-old Brett Anthony Terrance Maxie, was arrested last week after a stakeout at a home in the 200 block of Argyle St.
