A man injured after falling into a fire was one of dozens of alcohol-related calls Prince Albert police responded to on the weekend.

According to the police service, there were 127 calls for service between 6 p.m. CST Friday and noon Sunday, with many of them alcohol-related.

Throughout the weekend, 33 people were arrested, 15 of them for public intoxication.

There were also five vehicle accidents throughout the city, resulting in minor injuries. It's not known if alcohol was a factor in any of them.

On Saturday, police were called about an injured man in the East Flat area.

He had been drinking and fell into a fire, police said. Details weren't immediately available.

The man was taken to Victoria hospital by ambulance. The case remains under under investigation.
