Accused bank robber arrested in Regina
Police have arrested a Regina man who's accused of robbing a bank in the city last month.
Leagh Thomas Kirklon, 39, is scheduled to appear in Regina provincial court Wednesday on a robbery charge.
He was arrested without incident at around 2:30 p.m. CST Tuesday on the 1000 block of Princess St., Regina police said.
A Canada-wide warrant was issued for Kirklon after a man walked into a Scotiabank branch on the 400 block of Albert St. on July 30, demanded cash from two employees and left with an undisclosed sum of money.
Images of a suspect were recorded by the bank's security camera.
Police said they're continuing to investigate the robbery.
