One person is dead and a second is injured after a truck ended up in a water-filled ditch in northern Saskatchewan.
RCMP received the first report about the single-vehicle accident at 6:45 a.m CST on Wednesday. It happened on Highway 165, 25 kilometres east of Beauval.
When RCMP arrived, the truck was partially submerged in water.
One person was declared dead at the scene, the other was taken to hospital with injuries.
The RCMP are investigating, but did not say how the accident might have happened.
Police have not yet released the person's name. He was male, although the age wasn't immediately available, the RCMP said.
After the accident, Highway 165 was closed from Beauval to Pinehouse.
Beauval is about 311 kilometres northwest of Prince Albert.
