3 charged in connection with Regina homicide
A young man and a teenage boy have been charged with murder following the death of a woman in Regina on Sunday.
According to the Regina police, 24-year-old April Kristen Ann Sparvier was stabbed early Sunday morning.
She was still alive when found lying in a pool of blood on the 1100 block of Wascana St. in the city's north-central area, but died in hospital, hours later.
Kevin Douglas Papequash, 19, of Regina has been charged with second-degree murder and several other charges.
A sixteen-year-old boy also hasbeen charged with second-degree murder. His name can't be released under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act because he is a minor.
Also charged in connection with the death is 25-year-old Mandy Lee Zubot of Regina.
She is charged with being an accessory to murder after the fact.
All three arescheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning. Police are continuing their investigation and asking the public to call them withinformation.
Sparvier was the city's fourth homicide of the year.
