Crown prosecutors have stayed a charge of second-degree murder in the death of Marvin Bruce Sefton.
A Regina woman, Jessica Dawn Pelletier, 28, was arrested — and later charged — shortly after police found Sefton dead in a home on the 1000 block of Garnet St. in the city's north-central area. The charge, however, has been stayed.
Sefton, 41, died following some sort of argument in the early hours of March 1. He had been stabbed at a house party, police say.
